Sensei Alejandro Dearie

Back in 1987, Sensei Alejandro started participating in martial arts at the age of 6, following in his dad’s footsteps who was a martial artist that highly appreciated the benefits of a good balanced martial artist lifestyle. During the day Sensei Alejandro is also a scientist dedicated to finding possible cures for cancer. He obtained a Biochemistry degree from UCSD at the same time as continuing to practice martial arts.

Sensei Alejandro has participated in the most prestigious tournaments and ranked in the top places. Last year he won a bronze medal in the world championship in Jesolo Italy, this year 2022 he obtained gold in the Panamerican championship in Cascavel, Brazil. Participating in national and international tournaments has given him the experience to teach karate at the highest quality level to his students. His experience has given him the opportunity to be the official trainer for the Baja California kickboxing team preparing the next generation of champions. He also understands the importance of giving back to the community, he currently volunteers to run school programs that bring karate classes to kids in our community. Sensei believes that in great part his success is thanks to the support from his family that helps run his karate studio.

A black belt that has been training Lima Lama karate for over two decades. His passion for martial arts shows in each and every one of his students. Dearie has participated in many martial arts competitions alongside his family and has won countless awards.
